THIS is my current attempt at summer dressing, kind of. Even though I love the heat I absolutely hate dressing for hotter climates - especially considering 99% of my wardrobe is either a) outerwear or b) leather. I'm hardly beach ready. Saying that, I must be bearing at least 30% skin in this look, which is sure-fire improvement.
Let me know how you dress for summer in the comments below!
HELLO from the top of my suitcase. Who would have thought it would be so difficult to fit 412 pairs of shoes and a (completely necessary) sandwich toaster into one standard size case? HashtagBadCookProblems. Right now - as well as stuff-squashing - I'm planning out the next few weeks of my life. For the first time ever I'll be attending London Collection: Mens thanks to Propercorn, which I couldn't be more excited about (despite the University exam that falls on the same day, ugh), followed by my trip to Berlin with Stylight the week after (!) that's going to seriously test my German speaking skills. Hilfe. Then, I officially become an adult with my 21st birthday rearing it's ugly little head on the 15th. Let's just say, there better be cake. All in all, so far 2014 isn't looking too bad! Let's hope I don't jinx it.
What are your plans for upcoming month? Enlighten me.

EXCUSE the car-park location for today - weather has hardly been working in my favour lately (someone needs to tell these rain clouds that we bloggers have selfies to take). Thought I'd finally throw a picture of this coat up on le blog. It's been in my posession for around a year now but I'm still finding it tricky to pair with things (the word 'Hermione' springs to mind..) - so obviously I've opted for the usual black-white-leather combo. Gotta be done.

HOUSTON we have a problem. The topic of today is my severe lack of ability to get dressed these days. Thanks to stormy weather and festive-flus, the dressing gown/duvet combination has been in action a lot lately, and (whilst I consider us all to be great e-friends) in the wise words of Beyonce, Kelly and Michelle, I don't think you can handle this.

CALL IT fate, karma, conicidence, whatever, but the past few days have been pretty darn good. As if it wasn't already enough being able to sleep in my own bed, with my own bathroom and with the company of my feline friends, I've managed to score some pretty cool opportunities for le blog and I (we come as a pair you see).
However, the main reason for my general excitement and lust for life these days rests on some of my readers. Remember that Stylight competition I entered a few months ago? After gaining the most votes and winning both the first and third round I was put into the international blogger final, and I won! As of January 13th (two days before my 21st birthday) I'll be hopping on a plane to Berlin for the Stylight Blogger Awards - how's that for an early birthday present? Definitely beats a hang over that's for sure.
While I'm stuck on 'super sop mode' I'd just like to take two seconds to get a little bit emosh and thank you all for your support over the past few months. It's crazy how much my life has changed since making this blog and it's mostly down to you readers - I couldn't be happier! Thank you thank you.
