IF THERE'S one thing I'm good at, it's cross dressing. Probably not the type you're thinking of (although I am fantastic at that too), but the sort that involves bare legs in near-freezing temperatures.
Call it the dominatrix within me (or more likely the fact that Topshop Unique was spattered with vinyl all over their AW13 collection), but right now PVC has managed to replace my usual leather get up in the form of itty bitty skirts and plastic skinny jeans. I'm not sure the Mother approves...I'm not sure I care.
SHOUT OUT to all of the stylish trainers out there for making lazy days appear more luxe rather than lacklustre. Double shout out to my good friend Jake for being good with a camera and making me look like I've had more than three hours sleep. Which I haven't.
Before I forget to mention/spam you all: I'm in the running to win a trip to Berlin Fashion Week with Stylight (just a few days to go). To help me get there, I'd be forever thankful if you could all spare two seconds to 'heart' some of my recent looks on their site tagged 'winter'. You can find all my looks here and you can sign up to Stylight by clicking here. If i win, expect love letters. Lots of them.

AS WE all know: in England, when it rains..oh it pours. Even in the height of summer I find myself packing an umbrella just incase - but this is the first time one has actually appeared in an outfit post. If Jake and I didn't get enough funny looks snapping in the streets as it was, we definitely got some when doing it in torential rain. That's dedication there people.
Also, note the addition of the new Phillip Lim clutch under my arm..I consider it a reward for getting through the past week.
SORRY for the lack of photos today. To be honest, I wasn't all sure I was going to post these, as they're not usually the thing I put on here - being inside and all that - but fact is: it's winter, it's wet, and my har is frizzy. I couldn't not show you this skirt and sweater I ordered from Chicwish some time ago. In fact, I think we should all mark today in our diaries because, lo and behold I'm in colour! Paired with all black and leather of course (I mean this is me we're talking about here), but some colour none the less.
So that's all folks - winter is officially here. Definitely one of my favourite times of the year where Christmas is concerned, but it means I'm gonna have to work a whole lot harder (and potentially wake up a lot earlier!) to make sure we get the same quality of pictures as usual. Make sure you stay tuned - I have a few surprises up my sleeve!
FOLLOWING on from my last post, I've managed to keep to my own promise and stay inside for the whole of today - what a mission. The same however, can't really be said about yesterday when I decided it would be a good idea to treck through the countryside in some very rigid, very tight, hardly-worn Doc Martens, which, I'm sure most of you will understand are practically ankle destroyers, although quite the talking point. Lately, (thanks to the grunge and ‘vunk’ trends courtesy of the likes of Hedi at Saint Laurent and Versace) it seems as though everyone including - quite literally - my own Mother owns a pair of these boots, whether they were a part of the original punk scene or simply a coveter of 90s iconography (myself being the latter). However, my rebellious attitude sadly stops at my oversized footwear, what with the rest of my evening being spent nose-deep in a book about Post-Modernism - coincidentally fitting for this look. I suppose, when it comes down to ‘sticking it to the man’ (whoever said ‘man’ is) and causing an apparent uprising, I’ll have to let my feet - or rather boots - do all the screaming and shouting.
